Why people call Jim
Jim is the attorney who reads what you send and calls you back. You won’t be passed to an intake team to repeat your story.
So you get the attention you deserve, from an attorney who knows your case and handles it personally.
We work on getting your medical bills resolved and deal with the insurer, so you don’t have to take those calls.
After a crash
Some crash injuries don’t show up straight away – whiplash, nerve pain, headaches that start days later. Get checked and keep your records.
Photos of the vehicles and the road, the police report number, the other driver’s insurance, and witness names and numbers.
Before you give a recorded statement, sign a release or accept an offer, find out exactly what you’re agreeing to. Asking costs nothing.
General information only, not legal advice for your situation.
Meet Jim Hunt
Jim founded Hunt Injury Law after training at a large law firm. He stays hands-on with his cases because he cares about the people behind them.
Outside the office he coaches youth football, and he brings the same approach to his cases: prepare hard, stay in it, and don’t give up on the people counting on you.

How it works
It takes about a minute. You don’t need medical records, police reports or any paperwork to start.
Jim reads what you sent and calls you to ask a few questions about the crash and your injuries, and to answer yours.
Nothing is decided on that call and you are under no obligation. If we take your case, you pay no attorney’s fee unless we win.*

That’s what the review is for. Tell us what happened and we’ll tell you what we think, including if we don’t believe there’s a claim worth pursuing.
In New Jersey you can still recover as long as you were not more than half responsible. What you recover is reduced by your share.
